Yes, all our quotes are firm

Who buys the paint?
In most cases the paint and supplies are included in the quote. If you prefer to supply your own materials, please let us know before we provide an estimate.

How do I pick colours?
First pick out colour chips from your local paint or hardware store. It is always a good idea to take the colour chips home to see how the colour looks in your own lighting. Cheam Painting has a fan deck of colour chips you can look at as well. Another great option is to hire an interior decorator to help guide you.

Who moves furniture?
Most often we move the heavy furniture out of the way. We do ask that you remove any smaller items and wall art for safe keeping,

What do I do with my pets?
A separate room or outside for the day is the best choice as they may walk in wet paint or brush up against a wet wall.

Is it safe to leave my house and leave the painting crew there?
Absolutely! All of our employees are honest and reliable… most of our subcontractors have been with us since the beginning!

Will the paint smell? Can we sleep in the house while the painting is going on?
Most of our products are water based and with new VOC regulations in place, there should be no problems. If you have an allergy or sensitivity to paint products or if alkyd or other specialty coatings are being used it’s best to wait 48 before sleeping in that area.

When the painters complete their work, will my house be left clean?
Ryan will ask you if there is a spot were materials can be left for the next day in an organized fashion. If not, everything can be taken and brought back the next day. We do our best to ensure everything is left clean and tidy.

What do you do with the leftover paints and general garbage created on my job?
All leftover paint will be left with you for touch ups down the road. All garbage will be taken and disposed of.

What forms of payment do you take?
Cash or cheques.

What brand of paints do you use?
We prefer Cloverdale Paints but also have accounts with Benjamin Moore, General Paints, and Color your world.

Where do you work?
Many of our projects are in the Chilliwack and Abbotsford areas, but we will go anywhere in Greater Vancouver area.
